No Optical Image Stabilization for the Galaxy S5

Today the Korean website ETnews rumoured that the Galaxy S5 might not have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) after all, one of the reasons are Samsung’s own hardware components supply. The Galaxy S5 is rumoured to be announced sometime in March – April. The Korean website also said Samsung will not get all the hardware components in time which will result in a missing OIS for the Galaxy S5. They followed the report by saying all their high-end devices  might get OIS in the second half of 2014, this could be for the Galaxy Note 4.

Yesterday ETnews also rumoured some of the device specification of the Galaxy S5.
The overall specifications of the Galaxy S5 are: a 64-bit  Exynos or a Snapdragon processor, it will pack 3 GB of RAM, a 16 MP camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, and it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat (presumably covered with a new version of TouchWiz).
This source claims that there will be a “Premium” model sporting a metal case, and a flexible OLED and one “normal” version sporting a normal OLED and a plastic chassis.

We can’t wait to see the Galaxy S5 Samsung next flagship product!
