Ubuntu Touch appears inside the top-end smartphone out of the box?

Canonical's next year will continue to try to win back market share of mobile operating systems. As the head of Mark Shattlevort, the developer has managed to find a partner in the development of its flagship device. The following year, the market should go top smartphone running Ubuntu Touch. And it would not be smart Ubuntu Edge, a project to create that actually failed. At the moment it is not clear which company will act as a partner in the creation of the unit, previously collaborated with Canonical operators Vodafone, Verizon, Deutsche Telecom, T-Mobile, 3, EE, KT, SK Telecom and PT. OS Ubuntu Touch can run on pretty a large number of smartphones, but it requires certain skills to install, and devices that would work with it out of the box until it is released. In 2014, this situation should change, which should stimulate the proliferation of the OS. Plusses of this proposal is to support Linux applications and Java. But the leadership itself Canonical sees the main advantage is that it is not the OS from Google. Difference is much greater openness and the ability to better integrate services such as LinkedIn, Baidu, Facebook, Evernote and Pinterest. However, it is unlikely the new OS will be a truly mass market, where in addition to the dominant Android and iOS exists not only Windows Phone, but also a range of open and free operating system.
